The Opportunity Program is a comprehensive initiative created by CR8 The Future to eliminate financial barriers and expand access to youth sports. Any child up to the age of 18 with demonstrated financial need is eligible to apply. The program provides direct aid to cover registration fees, travel expenses, and essential equipment for participation in recreational, school-based, or travel teams across all sports.

In addition to individual grants, CR8 The Future offers completely free sports camps focused on skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. These camps are open to all eligible youth, with special outreach to underserved communities and children from military families.

The program officially launched in January 2026 and is open to families located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, with a strong initial focus on the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area, where youth access to sports is often limited by economic hardship. Families can apply online through the CR8 The Future website, where they’ll be asked to provide basic financial documentation and a short statement about their child’s interest in sports. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and support is awarded based on need, availability, and alignment with CR8’s mission to empower young athletes.
